NINE ELEVEN | little things thursday ...

a day that started like so many before
a day that would profoundly change every day after

linking up with:

 Little by Little

  1. Chilling, isn't it? I think your sentiment above is just what I think of. I think about the very ordinariness of what they likely did the night before and the morning of. How unexpecting, then how horrifying. I think too, not to be Debbie Downer, how it could be any of us. I hate those thoughts and how terror seeks to implant those thoughts in us all. These thoughts definitely invade my prayers.

  2. ...and as quickly, more than 10 years have passed; yet we still remember.

  3. Beautiful photography and post honoring the memory of change ~ Happy Week to you!

  4. So simply and well put. It was strange to look at my 8 year old students and hear them talk about the "day the towers fell" and know it was so long before they were born.

  5. Oh my, this image from the sky and an airplane just gave me a chill. Very profound indeed!

  6. Such a terrible day in our Nation's history. We will always remember. xo Karen
