When we originally set out to book our return trip to Disney
it was with the Halloween Party in mind;
the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT wasn't even on the radar.
it was with the Halloween Party in mind;
the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT wasn't even on the radar.
But once we realized the two would fall during the same time we were there, we were like:
"food?"
"heck yea!".
"food?"
"heck yea!".
You will likely recall my first impression:
"uh, drunk adults on scooters and/or pushing strollers AND 45 minute lines"
"heck no!"
But once we returned to the park on a non-weekend day,
the lines were far more manageable, and seemingly the drunken brigade had too reduced in numbers,
and the food was pretty good.
[France: Escargots; Morocco: Baklava; Japan: Teriyaki Gyoza Bun; Germany: Bratwurst]
would I recommend this festival?
no!
am I glad we got to experience it?
yes!
They really should give a badge of survival for getting through this thing;
something simple like:
something simple like:
"I survived the 2014 Food and Wine Festival"
versus the "50 Shades of Drunk" or play on 7 dwarf names "
Glad you're enjoyed yourself at least!

ReplyDeleteI prefer to go in May during the Flower Festival, but the Food & Wine Festival would be more fun now that Mallory is of age.
