guess who came to dinner ...

Friday's Bouquets made a reappearance after months on the lame.

My day home from "work" was spent dealing with a broken compressor to the septic system which included tracking down the repairman, policing the use of water like a prison guard, repositioning half of the garage to get to the tank, 

and generally trying not to think how bad I wanted to pee.

Needless to say, it was very sweet when my husband showed up after his day at the office with a bouquet of tulips.

That and apparently the daughter had put a call into him to let him know I was in "tornado mode" which must be the 2015 catchphrase for someone exhibiting extraordinary agility, determination, and purpose to get "the job done".   

All I know is that in view of winter's sudden outpour of polar vortex (2014's catchphrase for cold as heck), these beautiful spring flowers both warmed my heart and cheered up an otherwise stinky day (literally and figuratively).
