friday finds | perhaps probably possibly ...



I have found (perhaps not on a Friday) that my mojo for taking still photos has been a bit wonky lately. But as it seems to be an 'in thing' right now, I am pressing forward. 

 In the mean time ...



Looking to find some stuff around the house to practice on I came across this old candle holder.  A boutique shop find (probably not on a Friday) that was, I'm sure, in the clearance bin, sitting without a partner.  But it spoke to me and made me smile.  For awhile it sit somewhere of prominence in my house, but eventually found its way into the cabinet of abyss.  The neverland of nicknacks, the keepsake of 'stuff' too dear to dispose of, but not dear enough to, well, keep close.
So, here is my Friday find.
Found on Monday,
and back out for a brief period
(possibly until next Friday).

    I really am not prone to photographing still life's. Love looking at them tho, they bring such a sense of peace. But I'm trying to get my still life mojo on.

    Keepsake 'stuff' is the stuff that photo props are made of! And this time between the holidays and spring always seems to take a bit of the energy out of those of us who have a passion for photography. It will return, usually stronger than before. To everything there is a season.

    Ohhh I think we all have that cabinet of stuff!! Mojo will come back-thZts how I found newspaper blackout-at least it was a creative outlet-even if it wasn't taking pics. Xo

    i am def a nature photographer, but these winters are rough. my motto lately, if it stands still, take a picture!!!! so sweet and a perfect image for our next "holiday"!!! have a great weekend!!!!
