My daughter has officially been accepted into the JET program.
Technically she has to complete the final stage which involves her "officially" accepting the assignment, and then there is the security background check (pretty sure she has that one covered).
In short, it looks like she will (in all likelihood) being going back to Japan.
Which means mama will be making a trip to Japan in the foreseeable future.
The one sure thing I know is I hope they serve Skinny Vanilla Lattes.

While in Boston she convinced me to try bubble tea, not something Japanese but instead Taiwanese.
Between feeling like yuck where everything already tasted rather bland - I quickly found that adding unnecessary beads of tapioca with no flavor simply wasn't going to cut it.
