Running errands on Monday included a quick stop at Kroger for some sushi
(been working back up to grocery store sushi after the amazing stuff at California Grill,
but a gals gotta do what a gals gotta do).
Zipping through the produce department I nearly missed these little pocket sized Spring flowers.
Miniature gems quietly displayed on the fringe of the flower department,
hidden behind the bold buckets of tulips.
But there they were peeking out at me as if to say "hi, I am your next photo inspiration".
So I hit the brakes, backed up and put one in my cart without a second thought.
Somewhere between the onions and the sushi stand a voice in the back of my head said,
"one is nice, but two would be better."
Quicker than 'Bobs Your Uncle" I swung back around and was weighing my options for perhaps a third when it occurred to me that the day was early
and one or more child had yet to text saying
"need $".
So 2 it was.
(for now!)

What a sweet reminder that spring is here and hopefully here to stay. I always eagerly await the first green bud poking up from the ground and rejoice when I see the buds begin to open. Thanks for catching the essence of spring for me - lovely blooms !!!!!
