this day we will never forget ...


Every year, each anniversary, I watch every show. 
I remember in vivid detail. 
With each viewing, my heartsickness renewed.
And I wonder as much today as I wondered then -
WHY?
I don't know if these documentaries have the same impact on my children or the next generation as they do on me - but I strongly believe they should be shown each and every year so that we and those who come behind us truly
never forget.

    It's amazing to teach 3rd graders - so far removed from this event. They only know this world.
