***Auld Lang Syne***

Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot, and old lang syne ?
For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.

2010 in review

January
It was all about improving our lives and using what we have to the fullest.

February
all about applying textures and high definition actions,
and our daughter's birthday, of course.

MARCH
the month we realized that a MAC is not immune to hard drive crash

APRIL
a month defined by new starts.
a month that started with us looking at colleges for our daughter,
and ended with my husband suffering a heart attack
forcing him, and us, to live differently through diet and exercise.

MAY
more college visits and flowers, flowers, flowers

JUNE
Schools out and yet its not.
the month I finally got to show the kids where I went to college
and the historical sites that surround it

JULY
going, going, going!
more college visits, daughter's first time away from home at Brown Univ.,
and admitting that a 24 hour train ride was not the best idea

AUGUST
yep, more college visits
with a little bit of beach and a visit with my sister to the Capitol;
oh, and the kids go back to school.
The first 1st day of high school for the Boy
The last 1st day of high school for the Girl

SEPTEMBER
learning new routines with high school
yet still clinging to old routines of the Fall Fest

OCTOBER
busy, busy, busy
Homecoming spirit week, parade and dance
oh, and another college visit

NOVEMBER
bracing ourselves for colder weather,
appreciating the last comfortable morning walks
and another visit to the hospital with my husband.
the morning I scheduled the post about being thankful for the memories of bygone Thanksgivings with Mom, we had a health scare and were given a more immediate reason to be thankful.

DECEMBER
Santas all around
a month I struggled to get into the holiday spirit despite having ever reason in the world to be grateful; but once Christmas arrived, the gifts opened, dinners eaten, visits with family (and a child always at the ready for me to practice my photography) - I was content and at peace with all this year has laid at our door step. It has been a full year, one for the books for sure.

Thank you to everyone who has followed along.
and
HAPPY NEW YEARS!
