I was changing the container to keep the roses from my daughter's Sweet 16th Birthday and noticed that when it comes to drying flowers - not all flowers are created equal. Roses do a fine job drying out on their own . . .
but some of the others do not hold up as well. (especially the daffodils)
isn't that the saddest looking 'happy' flower?
They look kinda cool!
ReplyDeleteThat is a sad little flower on the last one, it looks like it is asking to be hugged. That's a great shot.
ReplyDeleteYep that last one doesn't look as pretty. I'll bet it was gorgeous a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteLove those shots. It's amazing how the flowers dry differently.
ReplyDeleteLove the daisies/chrysanthemums....they dried amazingly well. The daffy is pathetic, truely.
ReplyDeleteThey might look as beautiful as they did in their prime, but they make for very interesting photos!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment before, but just in case they don't come back I'll do it again. I think the flowers look kinda cool, even the daffodil!
ReplyDeleteI left a message, too--disappearing ink, I think. I really like the way the daisies/chrysanthemums dried--very cool. The daffy is just plain pathetic.
ReplyDeleteLove the way some flowers dry, lots of character.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, the roses definitely held their own better than the daffodil!
