must * get * back * to * work . . .

I am not functioning to my full potential today. I was stung by a bee again -(actually several times yesterday), so I was forced to take Benadryl. By 9 p.m. last evening I was watching TV with my eyes closed - useless I tell ya, useless!. When I got up this morning with an itchy swollen hand, I took more, (as in 1 pill), only to wake up 4 hours later on the couch with the cat sleeping on top of me. Sadly my day has been pretty much awash ever since. But I must get back to work because my Aunt-In-Law just called and apparently we are going to do a yard sale this weekend - ay yi yi!

and my poor Anniversary flowers are looking pretty sad too. Tough time of year for cut flowers - especially those left on the front porch in the sweltering heat because the Fed-Ex delivery person couldn't bring himself to knock on the door or ring the door bell. But weren't they pretty?!

  5. Maria - these pictures were taken a couple of days ago, at their peak. Now they are dragging their sorry little buds.

  7. Wow! If they look this great "wilted", I can't even imagine how gorgeous they would be in prime shape! They're beautiful, and the colors are just vibrant!

Thanks for the words of support on Ruby, who is recovering still struggling today.

And a rotten day for you! Sounds like your reaction to bee stings in significant. Stay safe!
