As far as scavenger hunt weeks go, this has been a good one.
Oddly inspired, easily amused, I managed to collect my photos in record time.
But in true form, rarely does my good fortune come without a hitch. Blogger threw me a curve ball Friday morning with a new posting format/procedures. I am an old dog. I get set in my ways. It's just how I roll!
So hopefully this comes to you in one piece.

milk glass -
from the days when cool stuff came in the box of detergent.
This would almost make me look forward to doing laundry. Almost!

and then there is the flea market find.
Mom and I each bought one of these (circa 1930) Hall pitchers from the flee market held upstairs during the 1970s at the Hagerstown Mall in Hagerstown, MD. I think we spent $10 a piece or maybe even $10 total. We had no clue who made them, we didn't care, we were just having a good time together and managed to find something we agreed upon (hard to do sometimes between mother and teenage daughter). Over the years we swapped so she could have the green to match her kitchen, and me the blue to match mine. But now they are both displayed together.

everything looks better in the morning light.
fairly painless, occasionally amusing. See more scavenger hunt posts over at Ashley Sisk's.

ReplyDeleteOn a side note...did you know you had your word verification up? It would be awesome if you disabled it. I promise you that blogger does a fantastic job weeding out spammers. The new wv is really annoying and for those of us surfing the web on our iPads it can be a total pain because of auto correct. Just thought I would share. :)
had not idea - the settings were probably changed when Blogger changed to new format. I'll fix that now - thanks for the heads-up.
