For the past two mornings the moon has been full and well into the sky
as I got up to get things in motion for the day.
This particular shot was considerably darker before the overlay
- but it was the blue that caught the attention of my camera
when all I noticed was the night losing its grip on darkness,
trying so hard to keep secret
the trees' desperate clutch of the moon,
holding tight,
straining for just a few minutes longer;

trying so hard to keep secret
the trees' desperate clutch of the moon,
holding tight,
straining for just a few minutes longer;
the ultimate snooze button.
Gorgeous shot and editing!
