The GOOD:
I am aware that candy corn has zero nutritional value
a/k/a
NOT good for you
Mixed with some peanuts, it was one of my mom's fall treats,
so each season when the shelves at the store are filled with candy corn I am reminded of her
which is a good feeling.
(but I only keep these around for photographing - easier on the calorie count)

The RANDOM:
soon there will be more of these
- in the meantime I'll settle for this random leaf from the sidewalk
The FUN:
fun mix of color in the flowerbed.
(so far so good - they are still alive)

ReplyDeleteI always buy candycorn for my kids when I visit the States - so fun to bring home candy they don´t usually find in our swedish stores. :-)

I love the photo of the leaf especially!
ReplyDeleteWhat's fall without candy corn? I dunno. I love them with peanuts too. It's like a Payday bar. I also mix in pretzels sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI loved candy corn as a kid, but just can't do it now. :(
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I had candy corn. Did I ever like it? But, I do like the memories it evokes for you. It's snowing here in the mountains. The flowers are kaput.
ReplyDeleteI love Candy Corn, so it is a good thing it only comes out once a year. I try to just ignore it when I am at the grocery store.
