guess what day it is ...

nope, not hump day 

it's the weekend ya'll...

It is the last weekend with my daughter before she returns to school for her final semester of college. (O.M.G. - big time!)

Today's fun is going to include haircuts and shopping for 'interview outfits'.  The last time we shopped together (for her) I was on the brink of throwing myself in front of on coming traffic so this time I encouraged her to bring along a friend to buffer. (the friend may or may not be aware of her role - but she's a smart girl and I suspect will figure it out quickly).

I'm also going to schedule my smart phone to send me periodic reminders to: 

"step back, give her space",

"if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything",

and take my husband's approach to the question: "does this make me look fat?" 

... "do you like it?  it looks fine!"  

So chin up ya'll, this could be a bumpy ride.
