Today's post was going to continue on my word theme of "proud",
but as I scrolled over recent posts it would seem both the blog and I are in need of some color.
Lots of grey, black, and white inside and out lately.

what is so great about art, and life ...
it's different and unique
it's different and unique
and when
authentic to our own voice, very individualistic.
It's also why we have so much to
learn from one another.
This quote from Kim's blog post yesterday resonated with me. It speaks to the core of what I look for and take away from photography, and life in general. Once, when I was in the 8th or 9th grade, the teacher took us outside and had us sit/stand/lay (our choice) and look. To observe. She then asked each of us to describe what we saw. Nearly each one of us had a different observation, a different experience;
yet we were all in the same spot, in the same moment.
yet we were all in the same spot, in the same moment.
Art / Life
the beauty and frustration of it is authenticated by our own voice.
It is January, a month filled with black/white and grey. Ultimately it is up to me to interpret, and up to me as to how much I allow it to define my days, my perspective, my life.
As for today, well today I prefer to see color.
(which is contrary to the fact I am dressed in brown - think of me as a blank pallet.)
Love the color!! I try to wear color in the winter to keep live exciting (-:
