Summertime,
And the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy's rich
And your mamma's good lookin'
So hush little baby
Don't you cry
Summertime | George Gershwin
~
When I was a young girl, summers were spent outdoors. Hiking the back roads, scaling trees, and picking wild daisies. We girls would clip the stems off the flowers then thread them together to make bracelets and headbands.
and the livin' was easy.

ReplyDeleteLove the hazy, blurred feel to this shot. Gives it a daydream quality. Which is so fitting to how I think of summertime days spent as a kid. Just perfect! Thank you for sharing at Song-ography.
